The true sequel to Ys I & II, back in the same style with similar locations (and some the same) - but with much improved graphics. It is Ys through and through, although it can be faulted in some ways due to the massive amounts of experience point collecting needed at certain points. Intros are superb, music is superb, but due to it being in Japanese only, it does lose some of the pull of the original (unless you can read the lingo). That is why I only give it four stars. But if you can read Japanese, it deserves five.

GRAPHICS: Great updates of the original.

SOUND: More classic music, superbly arranged.
