Another superbly presented quality shoot ‘em up from Hudson. It sticks to the same good old formula of Hudson’s previous games in the series, while throwing in some nifty graphical effects. It looks better and has more variety than Final Soldier and is yet another fine example of how shoot ‘em ups should be done.

GRAPHICS: Some great effects and nicer backgrounds than Final Soldier.

SOUND: Nice sound, but I think Final Soldier (and without doubt Super Star Soldier) has the edge on tunes.
