HUDSON SOFT/RED
20 NOVEMBER 1992
Card version of the CD Denjin shoot ‘em up, or so you would think. In fact, this is a whole different game, with completely unique levels and different game mechanics. It seems strange to say it, but the card version beats the CD version in both variety, gameplay and graphics. It’s just far more imaginative and makes use of the Engine’s capabilities to a better degree. Excellent.
GRAPHICS: Great cartoony style typical of PC Kid, with tons of multi layer scrolling (that was absent from the CD version). Levels are graphically very varied and enemies are creatively inspiring.
SOUND: Excellent soundtrack, very reminiscent of Coryoon (I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same people - even if Coryoon was Naxat).
