A very fine conversion of a classic arcade game, successfully capturing the look and feel of the original, and making most other Engine racing games look very poor. Out Run is and always will be king of racing games.

GRAPHICS: Spot on throughout

SOUND: Tunes are great, but they do suffer from NEC Avenue’s pathetic attempt at a drum beat, as heard also in Afterburner II. A nice touch is the option to turn the engine noise off, which I’m sure will make a lot of people very happy.
