This excellent Gauntlet style game has a bit of exploration involved, giving it a hybrid RPG/action game feel to it. There are many character to choose from, which makes a big difference to the difficulty of the game, and plenty of areas to explore. The overhead action is a lot of fun, and the ability to play with up to five people at once with a multi-tap is a great bonus.

GRAPHICS: Dark and moody. Generally pretty good, with some nice animation.

SOUND: Some superb tunes complement the action perfectly.
